Congress rejecting plan
We reject the plan due to it's falts on merchants and farmers
In December 1791, Alexander Hamilton showed his report on Manufacturers. In this report, he wanted to increase the duties on imported goods by the Tariff of 1789
This Tariff would be a protective tariff, and to convince Americans to buy domestic goods, theoretically would produce revenue. America's industrial power could have prospered and sky rocketed.
Alexander Hamilton's plan was rejected, because it feared the Northern Merchants and farmers. This would disrupt International trade for the merchants and farmers
