  • "The Slammer stood in an obscure place between the Homestead and the north glade wall, hidden behind thorny, ragged bushes that looked like they hadn't been trimmed in ages." (Dashner 191)
  • As the first hour passed, Thomas felt boredom. Two hours later he started thinking that being in the Maze would be better than in the slammer, and then Chuck came.
  • "Do you think that I have parents? Real parents?" (Dashner 193)
  • "Of course you do, shank." (Dashner 193)
  • "Don't give up, Chuck. We're gonna solve this thing, get out of here. I'm a runner now --- I promise on my life I'll get you back to that room of yours." (Dashner 195)
  • "I hope you'a   re right."
  • You good now?
  • Alby came and let Thomas out of the slammer and they had a conversation.

  • Could you stop calling me Greenie the girl is the newest she is the Greenie now
