  • Meanwhile in Dover, France....
  • I refuse to see her!
  • I'm sorry... I'm afraid there is no cure for your father
  • Goodbye... This is a one way ticket, I'm not coming back
  • Lear refuses to see Cordelia, since he is not only mad but also very ashamed for what he did to her.
  • Gonereil wants to kill Albany....
  • Cordelia learns there is no cure for her father's disease. Apart from a long sleep - usually in Shakespeare referring to death.
  • Leading to the “cliff”. Edgar makes Gloucester believe he jumped down the cliff and survived. The pretends to be another man who saw him "jump and land".
  • Oswald tries to murder Gloucester for the rewards Regan was offering. Edgar sees a letter from Gonereil to Edmund plotting about how to get “rid” of Albany (kill him), in order for them both to be together.
  • Edgar stops him from killing Gloucester and kills Oswald instead
