Storyboard Text

  • “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven" (Mt 7: 21)
  • But Jesus, have you not said in the past "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near" (Mt 4: 17)?
  • Amen, for it is important to repent for ones sins in order that one may enter into the Kingdom of God
  • Well how, then, would you define repent?
  • Hm... to repent is to feel and express immense regret or sorrow for ones sins
  • Could it be said, then, that in order to attain entrance to the Kingdom of God, all one must do is to proclaim "Lord, Lord, I repent"? Therefore eliminating the need for actions in accordance with "your father's" will?
