Nasha, king of the cowherds brought up Baladeva and Krishna.
A man named Kamsa sent a woman, Putan, to kill Krishna, but she was unsuccessful, and Krishna killed her instead.
Krishnathen kept his county safe in many instances by killing the mighty snake Kaliya and 5 rakshasa demons, as well as protecting the people from Indra.
Krishna now went to confront Kamsa and killed both the mad elephant and 2 strong wrestlers that Kamsa set loose to attack him.
Krishna then killed Kamsa and made Ugrasna king.
Kamsa's father-in-law, Jarasandha, angered at his son's death, sieged Krishna in Mathura. Krishna defeats both him and his ally, another evil king.
