Trans Atlantic Stave Trade
This storyboard does not have a description.
In America there was a shortage of slaves because they all kept dying of sickness. So when the Europeans and Americans got to Africa, they sew the perfect slaves and wanted them.
The Europeans offered the African kings manufactured goods such as cloth rum and most of all guns, in return for slaves. And the African kings were happy to oblige.
The slaves were then tightly packed into ships to be taken to the Americas.
The slaves were taken to plantations in the Americas .
There they had to work 16 hours a day picking crops under the hot sun. Many died young.
This lead to the loss of African culture and language and the depopulation in Africa.
