Storyboard Text

  • I am here to stop that ball if it goes past me
  • Gravitational potential energy
  • I am getting ready to hit the ball with applied force
  • I am about to throw the ball and i have to remember about gravity because its not on my side
  • Watch out for gravity dont choke!
  • Air ressistance
  • Oh NO, the wind knocked the ball out of my hand and it is going the other direction
  • I can make myself smaller to make sure air resistance isn't in my way
  • OH NO!!
  • Im happy we have friction or i would be flying away from that throw but sadly i threw it and my hands became slippery and I threw it to the side
  • Friction
  • That was bad
  • I ran with applied force not too much air resistance and i got through all 3 bases, im so happy we have friction or i couldent even run
  • Oh no he threw it and air resistance got in the way good thing he has static friction
  • Gravity- Makes objects go down creating GPE
  • Exaggeration/ hyperbole
  • I will throw this faster than the speed of light
  • Air Resistance- The air stopping the object and limits the objects speed can make objects also change direction
  • Simile
  • I throw the ball as fast as a rocket
  • The thing that keeps you in place, helps your throw a ball, and helps you do almost anything is called friction
  • Appeal to numbers
  • I THOUGHT ONLY 10 PERCENT OF PEOPLE AT THIS AGE CAN GET A HOME RUN!!
  • WOW I HIT IT 100 FEET THROUGH THE WIND
  • Exaggeration ,or in this case, the act of making something more dramatic than it really is
  • Uhhh Its exaggeration
  • What thats immposiable
  • Simile or in this case, when people say things like as fast as the flash, or as great as superman
  • More like as fast as a snail
  • Strength in numbers and you would believe the product worked if you were told by many people it works also known as apeal to umbers
