Harold's men meet William's forces. They are at an advantage as they have settled on senlac hill.
William orders his archers to shoot at the Saxon's. This is ineffective because of the shield wall which protects them quite well.
As the arrows didn't work out for the Normans, William orders a charge at the Saxon Shield wall. This is also ineffective and leads to 1/3 of Williams troops to fall.
Rumour has it that William was killed in the assault. So William lifts his helmet so his troops know he is alive. Two foolish saxons chase the normans but end up dead.
Norman's do a retreat and attack tactic which proves to be very successful. Saxon shield wall eventually breaks down.
Harold is shot in the eye, marking the end of the battler. The Norman's are victorious
