After Athena saves Odysseus from the storm, the Phaeacian princess, Nausicaa, shows him to the royal palace. There, the kind and queen greet him. After he explains to the hosts that he is Odysseus, they beg to hear the stories of his adventure and his exploits at troy.
After returning back to Ithaca, and revealing his true identity to prince Telemachus, he returns to the palace the next day, disguised as a beggar. His wife Penelope, thinks that this beggar represents her long lost husband, so she organises and archery competition. Each suitor is not able to string the bow, but Odysseus fires the arrow straight through the axes, and kills all of the suitors with the remaining arrows.
Once Odysseus reveals his true identity to the remaining people from the palace, he visits his old father, Laertes. When Odysseus's power is restored, and his family is back together, his very complicated story finishes.
