  • Election of 1828
  • Vote for me!
  • Vote for me!
  • Spoils System
  • You're fired!
  • You're Hired.
  • Your honor, the government of Georgia is passing laws that don't effect the Cherokee being a separate nation and is pushing there way through there lands protected by treaty.
  • Worcester vs. Georgia
  • Georgia must obey the treaty, so what Georgia is doing is against the Constitution and must stop immediately. Case dismissed.
  • These Indians are getting in the way of American settlement and are causing constant conflict between are nations. Time to move them west.
  • The candidates of the 1828 election were Andrew Jackson and John Quincy Adams. Jackson wanted expansion of slavery into western territories and support of states rights. John Quincy Adams wanted the total opposite.of slavery expansion and wanted to respect the Missouri Compromise.
  • Indian Removal Act
  • Notice of Treaty of Echota. You shall being moving west soon.
  • The spoils system is the replacement of government workers with those of your own party. I don't agree with the spoils system because the person I may put in charge may be terrible compared to the one I fired who had experience and knowledge.
  • Trail of Tears
  • Worcester vs. Georgia was a successful attempt to stop the Georgia laws and expansion into the lands of the Cherokee lead by Samuel A. Worcester. Chief Justice John Marshall found Georgia had no right to teak land guaranteed to the Natives. I agree with the decision because it allowed the Natives to keep there lands without fear of white settlement.
  • Andrew Jackson killed a man a duel.
  • The Indian Removal Act made thousands of Natives move from there homelands in order for Americans to settle on there lands, while the Natives went on the Trail of Tears.
  • The Trail of Tears was multiple trails leading to Indian Territory in order for them reestablish there way of life away form white settlement. Many died every day, there did not have proper supplies, and were forced to continue by armed soldiers.
  • I found this interesting because out of five to one hundred deuls, Jackson only killed one man.
