Storyboard Text

  • I can't believe we are already halfway through the semester! Where has the time gone? Let's reflect on where the time went!
  • I started off learning about the wonders of children in Early Childhood Educations. Children develop differently in so many levels. It takes time to understand them in where they are at physically, socially, emotionally and cognitively. Understanding these aspects of children helps me as an educator to help them become independent learners.
  • I also learned that there are a lot to think about when it comes to understanding children and meeting their needs. It's more than just teaching children abcs and 123s because the special part of Early Childhood Education is teaching children about themselves and the world they live in.
  • Another thing I encountered is the learning environment. A positive learning environment can help students blossom. Children should have the opportunities to interactively learn about different things and be given a chance to have choices in their learning.
  • We can give students these wonderful opportunities of learning through numerous ways. First off, we must take into consideration the diversity of our learners. We must understand and embrace out students' differences. The differences in the world is such a beauty!
  • As long as we connect to students' lives, that's how we can provide students with those enriching experiences. An important piece of knowledge I've gained is that I could do that through literacy. As students can use literacy to connect it to their experiences.
