  • Aristocrats lived in major cities, while farmers, etc. lived outside the cities.
  • Women worked side by side with men on the fields and played an active role in trading activities.
  • The Temple of Angkor Wat, it was important because is took 40 years to complete.
  • Hinduism and Buddhism spread throughout the region. They spread rapidly to other parts of Asia.
