forensic pyshocologist day to to roles
This storyboard does not have a description.
My job as a criminal profiler is unexpectable everyday, due to not knowing what can happen over night. My days mostly start around 6:30 in the morning to get to work for 8. However in some cases i can be called in at any time and my day could be until 10pm at night! Today i will show you a day where I've already been given a case to work on and i roughly know my daily tasks.
When a crime has been committed we are immediately called once police are informed. How many of us going to the scene can vary on how big the area where the crime committed is. Only a few of us were needed for this scene. The task we have is to analyse all evidence and look for every trace we can to make it easier for investigators to pin point the suspect.
Once me and the crime scene investigation team have taken all the evidence we need from the scene we will go back to the office and start consulting with everyone and providing them with our interpretation on what we've found and advice we would give to successful carry out the investigation.
After collecting and discussing all evidence that has been found i will need to review/analyse a report from an investigator. Looking at their observations on evidence, communication with the suspect and also looking at the crime scene photos.
I will also need to write a report myself making it very accurate and keeping the structure clear and understandable for anyone to read.
One task that doesn't happen everyday is appearing in court to testify for others, using profiles that have linked to possible suspect. When appearing in court you have to have a plan on what you're going to say and keep yourself proffeional.
