Storyboard Text

  • Tickler...oh no
  • Mrs. Joe has been out a dozen times, looking for you, Pip. And what's worse, she's got Tickler with her.
  • She Ram-paged out. That's what she did. She Ram-paged out, Pip.
  • Where have you been, you young monkey?
  • Pip ran home from the churchyard to find Joe sitting in the kitchen alone.
  • You did.
  • If it warn't for me you'd have been to the churchyard long ago, and stayed there. Who brought you up by hand?
  • Once he heard his wife coming, Joe told Pip to quickly hide behind the door.
  • Mrs. Joe, I should like to know-if you wouldn't much mind-where the firing comes from?
  • How did Pip eat all of his food so quickly?
  • Lord bless the boy! From the Hulks.
  • Mrs. Joe found Pip and threw him to Joe, who quickly put Pip in the chimney to keep him safe from harm.
  • Mrs.Joe began interrogating Pip on his whereabouts.
  • At dinner that night, Joe noticed that Pip had been 'bolting' down his food. Then they began to talk about the escaped convicts and the guns that had been fired the night before.
  • Not forgetting his promise to Magwitch, Pip stole some bread, some rind of cheese, about half a jar of mincemeat, some brandy, a meat bone and a beautiful round compact pork pie, and ran off again to the marshes.
