  • Federal estimates suggest that distraction contributs to 16% of all fatal crashes leading to around 5,000 deaths annually.
  • The 3 types of distractions while driving: visual, manual, and cognitive.
  • Visual: taking your eyes off the road. Manual: taking your hands off the wheel. Cognitive: taking your mind off driving.
  • Distracted driving can be solved by educating the public, eliminating distractions, and stop distracting the driver.
  • Remember, full attention on driving!
