Storyboard Text

  • Supper
  • Delicious!
  • I found dinner!
  • The Potter
  • This is horrible!
  • I wish I could do that.
  • A Journey
  • Excuse me, honorable sir. I would like you to teach me.
  • Alright, but you will have to take some of my pottery to the royal emissary.
  • Tree-Ear and Crane-Man were homeless, and they had no food but bones from other peoples garbage. Also, orphans were considered bad luck.
  • Tragedy
  • Give me your stuff!
  • Tree-Ear watched Min every time he was making pottery. He was desired to learn from him.
  • A Friend Passes
  • I was robbed along the way, but they said they expect more, honorable sir.
  • That sounds great, but your friend Crane-Man has died, falling off a bridge.
  • So he asked, and he got a quest. He began his journey after giving Crane-Man a clay monkey he made for him.
  • A Thousand Cranes
  • Along the way, he was encountered by a bandit. He took the pots and broke them, but he still had one single shard to hope with all of his heart that they will except it.
  • Stop! Leave me alone!
  • He told Min and he didn't seem excited. But he had bad news for Tree-Ear. Crane-Man had died falling off of a bridge.
  • So then Tree-Ear grew up with a family and a name, Hyung-Pul. And he made a vase for Crane-Man, known as The Thousands Crane Vase.
