  • We are introduced to the Narrator/protagonist and the Old man. The protagonist wants to prove to us that he isn't mad even though he doesn't like the Eagle Eye.
  • Climax
  • The protagonist doesn't like the old man's Eagle Eye and wants to destroy the eye.
  • Falling Action
  • The protagonist goes into the man's room every night at 12 a.m. for a whole week waiting for the eye to open for a chance to kill the old man.
  • Resolution
  • The eye opens and the Protagonist shouts and jumps onto the old man. He drags him onto the floor and lays the heavy bed on him to suffocate the old man.
  • He chops up the body and hides the pieces under three planks on his floor. After a wile he hears a knock on the door. The police had come because of reported shrieks.
  • The noise the protagonist has been hearing leads him to believe that the officers are mocking him and they knew he did the deed. He confesses.
