an insight in what it's like to work as the ferrymen of hades
Hello, my name is Charon, I am the ferryman of Hades. My job is to carry the souls of the dead to the Underworld. It’s not really that bad, well… except for the part with my rusty old boat, an eerie old river, and very noisy old souls from really noisy old people (the noisy part was their screaming)
seriously why do these souls always scream “NOOOOO!!!”, don’t they know that I have sensitive ears?
The only annoying thing is the amount of work I have to do during one of the god’s wars, if I have a golden coin for every time the gods kill someone in their wars, I would be a rich man…
wait a minute… I am rich!!! Then why am I stuck with a dusty old canoe? I could buy a yacht!!!
Some of these souls have some very interesting stories. Like this one soul called Rory Williams, his story was that he travelled through time and space with his wife in a blue box that belongs to someone called The Doctor (I wonder Doctor Who?)
he said that he once died, got erased from existence, got turned into a Roman, guarded a box for 2000 years, got called The Last Centurion, and then travelled again with this Doctor (seriously Doctor Who?!?)
