  • In Paris,The narrator is introduced along with his friend C. Aguste Dupin. They were having a discussion about a case, Until they were interrupted by Monsieur G (perfect). He came to discuss a case about a stolen letter form a powerful/royal person.
  • The conflict is that minister D stole a letter from a powerful/royal person. This conflict would be categorized as an external conflict, more specifically character vs character. The reason why is because it's a promblem between the royal person and Minister D. Minister D is using the letter as a way to get money from the royal.
  • They begin to discuss about the case. After awhile, Perfect came to the conclusion that minister D stole the letter. He begins to explain why he believes it's Minister D. They go to minister's hotel to search for the letter. After awhile they didn't find anything.
