  •  According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention poor food choices and an inactive lifestyle contributes to the leading causes of obesity in American.
  • Americans eat an average of 46 slices of pizza per person each year, most of the pizza you buy counts as junk food because of the high amount of refined carbohydrates, fat and sodium it contains.
  • The Department of Health and Human Services recommends at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity or 75 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity a week, or a combination. Also do strength training exercises for all major muscle groups at least two times a week. 
  • A well balanced diet and avoiding added sugar and high fructose corn syrup, foods that are highly processed and trans fat can lower your risk of high cholesterol, high blood pressure and diabetes
  • If you exercise and eat right you could live longer and grow old with the people you love.
  • If you don't choose a healthy lifestyle you could be at high risk of heart problems, diabetes and even death
