  • At midnight the narrator goes to the old mans house. The tone of the story is depressed and the mood of the story is scary. The narrator dislikes the old mans eye.
  • Climax.
  • The narrator has a problem with the old mans eye. Also, the narrator has a problem with his own mind. The reason why he has a problem with the old mans eye is because he thinks its always always staring at him.
  • Falling Action.
  • The narrator always goes to the old mans room at 12 at night. One night the narrator went in and the old man woke up and was startled and said ¨ who is there¨. The old man shirked once. In instant the narrator dragged him onto the floor and put the bed over him.
  • Revolution
  • The old man got suffocated because the man put a pillow over the old mans face. Also, the narrator cut his body parts and held his hand over his heart.
  • He checks that the old man is dead. Also, the narrator planted the dead corps under the flour board so precisely.
  • The police arrived. Then the narrator confessed of killing the old man and showed the police the body. Then he went to jail.
