  • I would like you to build me a palace and a maze for the royal garden...
  • Yes, your Majesty
  • Rising Action
  • The king has hidden a mentor at the end of his maze! I must get my son and get out of here.
  • Rising Action
  • Since you know whats at the end of my maze, and you know how to get out. I´m keeping you prisoner.
  • Long ago, King Minos wanted a new palace with a maze. So he invited Daedalus, a very skilled architect and builder, to get the job done. Daedalus also brought his son, Icarus, to help.
  • Climax
  • Dad, these are really cool, but I´m scared
  • After he built the place, he started and finished the maze. A few days after construction, he took a walk in it only to find a menator! The king was hiding it in his maze. He had to get his son and leave as soon as he could.
  • Falling Action
  • I am the king of the world!
  • Since Daedalus and his son knew the secrets of the maze, King Minos had no choice but to keep them prisoners, in luxury, in a very high tower till they died.
  • Resolution
  • I need to keep going
  • For a year, the father and son were captive, but what Icarus and the King were unaware of was that Daedalus was collecting bird feathers & wax, and making wings for an escape plan, and he wanted it to happen today.
  • I´ve been working on these wings for a year, and theyŕe out of bird feathers
  • They put his plan into action and jumped out the tall tower, and they did it! Daedalus and Icarus were flying! the soldiers were aware, but they could´nt do anything. Icarus was told not to go to high, the sun would melt the wax, or to low, the air pressure would bring them down.
  • Icarus! Don´t go to high or low!
  • Icarus was so caught up in flying, he went to high and his wax started to melt. Soon his wings fell off and Icarus went into the ocean. When Daedalus saw only feathers, he knew Icarus had drowned. He could´nt dread over it long, he had to move on.
