Lisa suffers from Claustrophobia. She experiences anxiety caused by extreme fear to small or crowded environments, which make her feel trapped.
Flashback: Lisa was stuck in an elevator with her dad when she was six years old and still has nightmares about it.
Lisa's 1st episode as an adult: Walking toward an elevator at the doctor's office, suddenly her vision begins blur and seems to darken, with her heart racing. She attributes it to not eating all day and steps into the elevator anyway.
Inside the elevator Lisa begins to sweat and feel light-headed. The walls now look like the inside of a coffin to her and she panics dramatically. She faints.
Feeling like she's going to die, Lisa is so overwhelmed with anxiety that she faints into her husband's arms. He calls for help.
After being diagnosed with Claustrophobia, Lisa attends therapy regularly to help her deal with the syndrome. She now avoids crowded events, tight spaces, and works on focusing techniques to calm herself in cramped room like the bathroom.
