PSA #12 Holiday Safety Tips
Merry Christmas. You should watch some Christmas movies. In fact...
Hey you. This is a Public Service Announcement Ho-ho-holy crap it’s Christmas!
Christmas is objectively the best time of the year. Of course I’m inherently biased to the Christmas season, as it falls just around my Birthday, but that’s besides the point.
Now,Christmas and the New Years Season are fun and all, but it is important to remember to stay safe. Christmas is nice, and giving gifts makes you feel really nice, but let’s face it. You probably waited until as late as possible, and now you have to get your gifts. And a lot of other people are in the same situation.
Stores, parking lots, and roads are pretty packed, so make sure you watch yourself and be considerate of those around you. You’re not as likely to get punched in the face over vegetable steamers then on days such as, say, Black Friday, but nobody wants any trouble. And you probably don’t want to spend Christmas finding a replacement car.
Though to a lesser extent, New Years also has some safety importance. I’ve noticed that people tend to “go nuts” on New Years, but remember to keep it within the law and to drive sober, because a car crash would be an awful way to kick off the new year.
