Each of you students, should give me the contributions of Faraday, Hertz, Oersted, Ampere and Maxwell on the development of the Electromagnetic Spectrum?
From what i have researched Ma'am, Michael Faraday formulated the principle behind electromagnetic induction.
And Heinrich Hertz showed experimental evidence of electromagnetic waves and their link to light. He also discovered the Hertzian waves (radio waves).
Hans Christian Oersted also showed how a current carrying wire behaves like a magnet (electromagnetism).
While Andre Marie Ampere also demonstrated the magnetic effect based on the direction of current.
Lastly, James Clarke Maxwell contributed in developing equations that showed the relationship of electricity and magnetism.
