The Second Crusade (1146~1148) The Muslims captured the city of Edessa, then when the Christians tried to take it back, the attack failed.
For the Third Crusade (1189~1192) Richard the 1st of England and Salah Al Din signed a peace treaty that would allow all Christians and Muslims to pass through Jerusalem.
King Richard The 1st (aka Richard lionheart) led the Third Crusade.
