Storyboard Description

Five stages of the plot

Storyboard Text

  • Exposition
  • Rising Action
  • Climax
  • One midnight, I was falling asleep very slowly, reading a book. All the sudden, there was a quiet tapping at my door. "Oh it's nothing more than a tapping at my door."
  • Falling Action
  • "Sir or Madam, I was napping and barely heard your quiet knocking." I said opening the door, with my heart beating fast. Yet, there was nothing there but darkness, and nothing more.
  • Resolution
  • " You thing of evil! You devil! You standing there on Pallas above my door! Tell me is there Balm in Gilead? You must tell me! "Nevermore" Quoted the Raven.
  • Allusion
  • "May that word be our last to each other, bird or fiend!" I screamed loudly. "Get back to that hot place you belong! Don't ever come back! That your beak from my heart and leave!" "Nevermore" The Raven replied.
  • The Raven, never flinching, still sitting, with eyes that look like the devil's, shadows casting on his face, and my soul lays lying on the floor, he quoted, for the last time, "Nevermore."
  • Allusion is a reference to something important. Here's an example " Balm in Gilead" is one from the bible. Also "Bust of Pallas" is one.
