  • “What have I done!!” I thought to myself. “Why did I follow that girl who lead me into trouble, WHY?” I have committed a bad crime in 2015. That lie taught me a big lesson.
  • I saw a girl lying about a home reading log in the hot, yellow bus and she asked me if I knew any titles of books.I told her some titles and then she said “I am going to write my mom’s signature so I could get a prize” so I thought to myself if she could do that, then so can I.
  • I started to do the same for weeks and weeks. When I turned them in I got a cool prize. Then my mom started to get suspicious. Finally my mom spoke; she said “Como estas haciendo ese papel, y yo no te veo leer ” . This means, “ How are you doing that paper, and I don’t see you read”. I was nervous, I didn't know what to say but I came up with an excuse. I said “Yo estoy leyendo, pero tu nunca me viste”
  • Reading log
  • hi
  • I was nervous, I didn't know what to say but I came up with an excuse. I said “Yo estoy leyendo, pero tu nunca me viste” Then, came parent conferences. We started to walk in those quiet and long hallways. When we got to the clean, and organized classroom I didn’t feel like going in. Finally, my mom met with me, in the linkages to learning office and she started talking about what happened, then came some questions.
  • I faked my dad's signature, so after our conversation I told my dad sorry for what I did. This is significant to me because it changed me to know when to lie, that’s when I am making up jokes and when not to lie, when there is serious things, like a reading log. The lesson I learned is that it is important to be honest, when doing things that are important.
