Storyboard Text

  • Medieval (500 AD-1500)
  • Between 1347 and 1350, a mysterious disease known as the "Black Death" (the bubonic plague) killed 20 million people in Europe—30% of its population.
  • Renaissance (1500-1650)
  • I keep on hearing about this 'Leonardo da Vinci' guy. I doubt his art will ever get THAT famous though...
  • Fashion has become increasingly important, and for us wealthy people - we only wear the most magnificent clothing money can buy.
  • Neoclassical (1650-1750)
  • The Medieval Period is often looked upon as a really dark time, but it did inspire Geoffrey Chaucer to write 'The Miller's Tale' around 1370.
  • Romantic (1780-1830)
  • The Renaissance period started in Northern Italy and eventually spread to other areas of Europe. People became more cultured - and begun appreciating art, poetry, literature, science and philosophy.

  • Modern (1901 onwards)
