  • We will finish our shapes unit this week and I want us to all focus on our thinking skills.
  • This week's goal: Focus on our observation skills!

  • Look guys, rectangles and triangles.
  • And here's a square.

  • Look! That stop sign is a octagon.  And that yield sign is a triangle.
  • Those are both 2 dimensional!
  • This week we are going to work on our observation skills outside the classroom.  Focus on finding shape when you are outside the classroom.
  • Hey guys!  Are you ready for the shapes test today?
  • We are ready!  We have been pointing out shapes to each other since we got to school.
  • Students are using their observation skills at recess to point out shapes to one another.
  • Every student earned     an A
  • They did such an amazing job on their shapes test.  Their hard work and practice this week really paid off.
  • Students are observing the shapes around them on their way home from school.
  • Friday morning: Day of shapes test.
  • Our school is made of cubes and is 3 dimensional.
  • Test scores have increased because of thinking and observation skills practiced throughout the week.
