Susanna and the Treasure 2

Susanna's ally, Tituba and her plan how they are going to tell Joseph about the treasure. Susanna is worried about what he is going to say but she knows that it is the right thing to do.
The Road Back
Philip, Susanna's father, decides to give a reward to anyone who has information on who stole the treasure if no one comes forward with the truth, he will punish anyone suspected of know or being part of the act.
Susanna realizes that telling the truth is always the better thing to do. She knows now that once you know what happened, tell the truth. It could save someone who has been wrongly accused. She doesn’t want her family or someone to be accused of something they didn’t do.
Return to the Elixir
No one was coming forward to tell the truth and there were rumors going around as to who was going to be punished or put in jail if someone did not come forward.
Susanna then hears that someone if defiantly being brought to jail if no one comes forward. Susanna then decides she has to tell Joseph what happened with the treasure. She feels guilty that she did not come forward sooner but knows that it was the right thing to do in the end. Joseph is shocked and goes to see Johnathan. Johnathan confesses and he is punished but not severely because he was a friend of the family.
Once Johnathan's punishment was complete things start to go back to how they were before the treasure incident. She helped him learn that you have to always tell the truth and do the right thing or else bad things happen, like his punishment.
