The Devil And Tom Walker
By rachopage, Updated
Tom Walker was walking in the forest when he encountered the devil, and was offered a deal.
Tom talked with his wife, who he fought with often, and turned down the offer, just to aggravate his wife.
Tom's wife took to the forest in search of the devil to make the deal with him, but instead, he killed her and left nothing but a heart and liver for Tom to find.
After a few days of waiting for his wife, Tom went to the forest and made a new deal with the devil.
Tom became a usurer in the town, and took advantage of the people and became very wealthy.
Soon after, Tom began to regret his decision, and asked God to forgive him of his sins. The devil didn't like this, so he carried him off in a horse, and Tom was never seen again.
