During the reign of King Louis and Queen Marie went into bankruptcy after helping with wars. Although in financial problems the King and Queen still cared on spending as much money as possible not caring that their people were starving.
Due to the bad economy King Louis called on the estates general for help. This was the first time in 125 years that the estates general has been called. france was in big financial problems
After the other estates kicked them out they started to meet in the tennis courts. They vowed that they would not to give up until they get all men equal rights .
