My character, George, is happy because he worked hard today making the table.The North was already urbanize and the economy was based in many differents industries, including shipping, textiles, lumber, furs, and mining. They also used manufacturing to do the products.
The immigrants life in the North was hard and at this time was difficult to get good jobs.To get money, the men found work doing the loyalist jobs and the women often employed as house hold workers.
The picture shows African American sad because in the North were treated with discrimination and inferior than the White American. They were not allowed to work in factories or 'difficulties' work. Their kids could not go to the same school as the White American's kids.
The South's economy was based in agriculture because the climate was propitious to the cash crops and plantations grow. The product the South most earned money money was the cotton and to get the cotton they used the slaves to do their work.
The slaves life in the North was based in do hard works and do labor to help their owner has more cotton,tobacco, rice, sugar cane and indigo. The slave codes were the laws which controlled the slaves lives.
The African Americans free in the South were denied by basic laws. They were excuse by the most menial jobs, their kids could go to public schools and they could not vote, serve on juries or testify against the whites. They also could not travel and the freedom they had was never secure
