  • HELEN!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • She cant hear you! She cant see you!

  • You must raise your hand Helen.
  • Hee Hee Hee
  • Mamma!!!!
  • After a couple days through the story, we are reintroduced to Helen when she was 6 in a half years old and Kate finds out that Helen is blind and deaf.
  • Once Kate realized that Helen was blind and deaf, Kate and Captain Keller were having a fight whether or not Captain Keller should write A letter to Dr.Chisholm. Then Captain Keller finally agreed to write the letter. Dr.Chisholm then sent A young women named Annie to teach Helen. After that, James picked up Annie from the railroad station and brought her to their home to meet Helen. Once she meets Helen, Helen wanted to take the bag into the house. Then Annie was trying to teach Helen to raise her hand if she wants something, in order for her to bring the bag inside.

  • Then Annie gives Helen A doll that has a mamma sound. After that, Annie tries to take it away and give back to her once she spells the word doll, but instead Helen throws a tantrum and locks Annie in the room without the key. Then Helen hides the key in her mouth leaving Annie climbing down a ladder on Captain Keller's back. Once Annie is down, she goes near Helen, and see's her take the key out of her mouth, and hide it in the pump.

  • During dinner Annie would not let Helen put her hand in her plate, which makes Helen mad. Then Helen starts to throw A tantrum. After Helen starts to throw A tantrum, Annie makes everyone leave the room to teach Helen some table manners. After A long time they finally come out and Kate discovers that the rooms A wreck but Helen folded her napkin, ate with A spoon, and ate from her own plate.
  • Mr.Keller and Mrs.Keller has agreed to let Annie take Helen to their greenhouse after A long discussion, to teach Helen for two week's. Once they reach there, Helen starts to miss her mother, so she puts her hand on her check as A sign for her mother. After the two weeks are over Annie has taught Helen obedience, but not what her goal was, which was to teach her that things has A name and A meaning. Once Mr.Keller and Mrs.Keller arrive, Annie asks for more time to teach Helen one thing, and that one thing was Annie's goal. Unfortunately, Kate, Helen's mom, wanted her back.
  • Once Helen returns home, Helen immediately starts testing her parents at the dinner table by throwing her napkin on the floor. Once Annie realizes what she is doing, she takes Helen outside with the pitcher, and demands her to fill the pitcher up, but instead Helen throws the pitcher on the floor and puts her hand on her check for her mother. After Annie says she isn't here, Helen starts to realize what Annie was trying to teach her, so she starts to touch things and spells it into Annie's hand. Helen then spells water and thinks about it. Helen finally says wah wah meaning water!!! Then Annie calls Mr. and Mrs.Keller out and they were all relived and filled with joy.
