- First the Maoris were happy because they had their own land.
- And then all of a sudden the British invaded their land and the Maori people got upset so it started an argument with the two sides.
- Then the treaty of waitiangi along. Both sides signed the treaty to have peace. The maori were promised their land and respects.
- There were 2 people and they translated the treaty wrong so that they were both promised the same thing
- the treaty ended up breaking out in war
- happily ever after
