  • When he was little his mother saw him struggling in school. So she sign him up for violin classes. He showed no musical talent and kept getting teased by some friends. All expect one friend, he told to skip class and come with him to the gym. From then he boxing carer began.
  • When Joe Louis and Max Shmeling fought this was the first time he was lost. On the 12-round he got knockout. But after this he fought for the heavyweight crown. He won and was heavyweight champion of the world. He got to fight Max Shmeiling and won the second time.
  • He was important because he fought a Nazi leader. He defeat Max Shmeling who helped Hitler. He was a great leader and did a lot of public speaking. He fought in World war two. He was one of the many boxers who joined World War 2. When he got back World War two is still Happen he donate a lot of money to the military.
