  • Exposition
  • What's it for, sir?
  • I want you to build me a palace.
  • Rising Action
  • *shudders*
  • Rising Action 
  • King Minos wanted a palace with cellars for his captives so they could never find a way out again, so he wanted Daedalus and Icarus to build it for him.
  • Climax
  • Please, spare me a feather so I can escape with my son.
  • After Daedalus built the palace he was amazed by his work but he wasn't happy about what the purpose of the palace.
  • Falling Action
  • King Minos would not let the two leave because they knew the paths of the maze so the king put them in upper-class cells and Daedalus wasn't happy about the life he was living in the cell.
  • Resolution
  • Daedalus had a plan to get out of the cell.  Every night he would ask a bird for a feather so he could create wings for him and his son.
  • Coo
  • Daedalus and Icarus escape the cell and are free from King Minos's rule and they swim over the ocean to get away.
  • Icarus's wings gave up and fell off him and he fell deep into the ocean below the sharks and eels.
