  •  falling action
  • In the rising action Sam gets killed by the sheriff and they burn the school  because someone saw Kate Barlow and Sam kiss. Kate Barlow gets upset and kills the sheriff.
  • Resolution
  • The climax of the story is when the curse is broken because stanley carried zero up the mountain and let him drink from the stream and how was it broken its because madame Zeroni's great-great-great-grandson is zero and Stanley is related to Elya and Stanley broke the curse from his family just by carrying zero up the mountain so now stanley´s family is not cursed anymore.
  • character development
  • Stanley's lawyer had shown up the day before to say that Stanley is innocent of stealing the shoes. The lizards scurry away and the Warden tries to take the suitcase from Zero but he says it belongs to Stanley. Zero shows everyone the other side of the suitcase where the name Stanley Yelnats is printed.
  • Stanley’s father invented his product the day Stanley (the- great-great grandson of Elya Yelnats), carried Zero (the great- great grandson) up  the family Camp Green Lake gets closed down and the warden is forced to leave ,the suitcase was filled with jewelry  and papers like( stock certificates). Each boy received almost 1 million dollars Stanley brought his family a house,  and zero hired private investigators. In the final scene ( a year and a half later ),we see Stanley family watching super bowl Commercials with Clyde Livingston ( Sweet Feet ).
  • In the novel Stanley is accused of stealing the Clyde Livingston shoes from the shelter. At the end of the story however, Zero is honest about how he stole the shoes. Stanley's situation changed because he broke the curse and his dad finally made a cure for stinky feet. For example, in chapter (48), Stanley goes home with Zero. Because of this , we see that Zero changed from being quiet to talking more and wanting to learn to read. I believe that if Zero had never stole the shoes this would have never happened, then Zero would not have made this change. Ultimately this shows us that just because someone is always quiet don't mean they are stupid.
