  • Britain is a part of a group of countries called the European Union. It is a political and economic collation of 28 various countries.
  • Britain wants to leave the European Union due to migration problems and unequal power between the countries.  According to the a BBC article the EU has developed into a "Single Market" (the countries function as one). 
  • The British win the vote to leave the EU (56.6% voted yes to leaving and 46.4% voted no). 
  • Independance

  • The Value of the British currency (pound) decreases after the Brexit vote.
  • Theresa May (British Prime Minister) starts process of UK being approved by EU government.
  • According to the rules in article 50 Britain is allowed to leave the UK, the governments have two years to decide upon an agreement about the departing country. Britain is scheduled to leave the UK on March 29th, 2019.

  • Prospective day of UK split from EU.

  • After UK is approved as it's own country by 20/28 countries with over 65% of the EU population they will take on old EU laws but can change or revoke of some of them.
  • After Britain has separated, EU citizens face possible deportation in the UK and will need a visa to work/live there.
