In the courtyard of her university, Bethany walked past a table of students in a club called Vegan Students at ASU. Which got her thinking, what is veganism?
At home, she researches the difference between veganism and vegetarianism and finds out there's a number of good reasons to be vegan.
Bethany decides to do a 30-day vegan challenge after seeing it on the Vegan Students Facebook group. She never realized how easy and great veganism could be.
"I've been vegan for one year and I was wondering if there were any concerns or risks related to my health?"
"Tracking nutrients, vitamins, and calorie intake is important to be sure you are consuming enough and meeting your daily metabolic needs."
"Thank you. I'll be sure to supplement with B12 and continue to eat a plant-based and balanced healthy diet."
"I'm glad that you came in for a physical assessment. Annual physicals are a good way to check upon your general physical health."
