This storyboard does not have a description.
"The Boys and the girls live in separate worlds. The boys in their universe and we in ours."
The main focus of the book is about women. And how men bring them down by taking away there independence. Or there "free spirit"
I picked this quote because of how this is the first time Esperanza talks about the differences of man and women throughout the book. It is also the first time she really talks about boys.
One thing I liked about the book was how often the theme is shown but you have to really search for the true meaning of the book.
One major dislike was the lack of plot in the book. I understand that she did this on purpose with the vignette style. I just felt a lack of connection throughout my reading.
"Just like that, as if she was a fancy chandelier."
