  • A massive mob of angry women storm Versaille, killing many guards and forcing the royal couple to move to Paris
  • The Declaration of the Rights of Man of the CItizen, which states that a government must protect the basic rights of its citizens, including liberty, Porperty, and a life free from oppression.
  • The royal couple attempt to flee the country, but recaptured on the border of Austria and sent back to Paris
  • The king is forced to sign many laws that increase the power of the citizens and weaken the monarchy.
  • In an effort to remove the idea of revolutions in their own countries, and in an attempt to gain territory, Austria and Prussia join forces to invade France.
