A massive mob of angry women storm Versaille, killing many guards and forcing the royal couple to move to Paris
The Declaration of the Rights of Man of the CItizen, which states that a government must protect the basic rights of its citizens, including liberty, Porperty, and a life free from oppression.
The royal couple attempt to flee the country, but recaptured on the border of Austria and sent back to Paris
The king is forced to sign many laws that increase the power of the citizens and weaken the monarchy.
In an effort to remove the idea of revolutions in their own countries, and in an attempt to gain territory, Austria and Prussia join forces to invade France.
