  • The old red blood cells are on their way to the spleen to get destroyed because they are not of much use anymore.

  • The thymus produces lymphocytes called Peyer's patch which filter out bacteria from the body. Something called a lymphatic vessel holds the lymphatic fluid created by the lymphocytes.
