Jamie hasn't shown interest in anything that he would normally find enjoyable for over a month.
Jamie's parents noticed the change in behavior and took him to the doctor to figure out what was going on. The nurse talked to Jamie during the initial assessment and listened to his concerns without judgement.
After Jamie saw the doctor the nurse educated Jamie on depression and taught him some coping mechanisms for when he feels down and provided him with literature to on other services that can help.
