Storyboard Text

  • "Powerful Resilience" (Obstacle 4)
  • OMG! YES!!
  • I once dreamed off treasure in an abandoned church in Spain. I'm not stupid enough to go for it!
  • "Well, Finally!" (Personal Legend Accomplished)
  • "I'm coming, Fatima"!
  • "Knowledge Is Useful"
  • *Book Stuff*
  • Before the men departed, one of the refugees explicates that he had a similar dream of the treasure in an abandoned church in Spain. Essentially, Santiago's resilience against the underwhelming beliefs results in his knowledge of the treasure's location and the dominance of the hindrance.
  • "Smart With Books, Only Books"
  • "I call on the LORD in my distress...."
  • Santiago treks back to Spain to excavate the treasure at the abandoned church; he discovers a profusion of treasures and declares that he will travel back to the Al-Fayoum oasis to Fatima. Santiago has finally achieved his Personal Legend: to grasp physical and mental treasure during his journey.
  • "Talk About Being Socially-Inept"
  • After several months of being a shepherd, Santiago reaches Tarifa, Spain and meets the girl in his dream while selling wool to a merchant. While discussing Santiago's ability to read, Santiago develops an attachment to her.
  • "Aiming High"
  • Santiago, for his entire life, devotedly attended the seminar every day in order to become a Catholic priest. However, Santiago was not liked by any student in the seminar at all; fellow students perceived him as a brainwashed, Catholic dweeb.
  • "I call *murmurs* distress..."
  • "*Inaudible mumbling*"
  • Santiago had no friends, except for one aspect: grass. He talked to the grass about his depression that only three people love him: his mother, his father, and himself. Eventually, Santiago collapsed in fatigue and began to dream.
  • NO one loves me!
  • *Swaying in the wind*
  • Eventually, Santiago collapses in a deep slumber. He dreames of meeting this astoundingly beautiful girl in the town of Tarifa; this girl says that Santiago must travel to her for a visit.
