  • Marian Anderson was an American and was also one of the celebrated singers from the twentieth century. She was born on February 27 in 1897 but sadly died on April 8, in 1993. She was born in Philadelphia.
  • Marian Anderson one of her big accomplishments was being one of the first women singers with a very low voice. She was one of the few people to do something she wanted even though she was different from other singers.
  • Marian Anderson had tons of speeches on race that inspired many people who were different. Many people thought that since they were different from many singers that they couldn't sing but she thinks other wise.
