  • I want you to build me my labyrinth!!
  • Okay, what is it for??

  • I don't like the idea of this..

  • Look at these sweet wings I made us!
  • Woah!!!
  • King Minos wanted Daedalus and Icarus to construct a labyrinth for him. Daedalus was very curious on what was going to be in the cellars. The king told him nothing and told him to just build it.
  • Climax
  • This is sooooo cool!!
  • Once Daedalus and Icarus finished building, he realized what the maze in the cellars was for. It was for a minotaur. Daedalus now badly wanted to escape Crete so he didn't get fed to the beast.
  • Falling Action
  • MY WINGS ARE FALLING OFF!!!!!
  • Every night, Daedalus would collect bird feathers to build a set of wings for him and Icarus to escape. When he finally finished, he woke up Icarus and stuck the wings to him. Icarus was nervous to fly but soon he built of the courage and the boys finally escaped their tower.
  • Resolution
  • ICARUSSSS NOOO
  • Daedalus constantly told Icarus not to fly too close to the sun or the wax would melt and he would fall. Icarus soon flew higher and higher and higher.
  • Don't get too close to the sun!
  • Icarus noticed his wax was dripping. He tried to fly down and reattach the wings to himself but it was too late.
  • Icarus was now plummeting to the ground with his wings in his hand. Daedalus saw Icarus and was mortified. The only thing left in the ocean was Icarus's wings.
