  • I'm tired of listening to others.
  • I'm fine with the way things are.
  • Calm down everybody.
  • I want religious  freedom.
  • I want a job.
  • I'm the Liberty Tree. If you are wondering, I am an elm tree.
  • I am King George III.
  • People wanted to leave England to become rich, wanted religious freedom, find jobs, poor, and wanted to get money. America was the land of opportunity. Americans, shoekeepers, tradesmen, black slaves, and many more
  • A huge elm tree became the symbol of the land or colony. Later it was called the Liberty Tree. People in other colonies named trees after this event. If they couldn't name the trees, they named long poles instead.
  • In 1760, King George III became the king of England. He was also called Farmer George or the Button Maker.
