Storyboard Description
Things get scary for Johnny Steel.
Storyboard Text
- As Steel continues to look around and wonder why the lights are out, cut to some strange looking, shadowy thing moving very quickly in the darkness far down the hallway behind him. It makes little scritchy noises.
- Cut to medium close-up, over-the-shoulder shot of Steel whirling around quickly.
- Hey! Who is that?...
- Cut-away to a close-up of Steel pulling his phone out of his pocket.
- Steel holds up the cellphone to use the glowing screen as a flashlight and inches his way down the dark hallway.
- Cut to wide shot. Steel makes his way to the office where the party was earlier in the day. He is looking for a light switch when he is distracted by the cake.
- Cut to close-up of the ravaged cake as Steel shines the cellphone on it. The cleaver that was in it is missing.
- Cut to close-up Steel looking confusedly at the cake.
- Cut to a close-up of the cake as Steel sticks his finger it in.
- Cut to a medium close-up of Steel as he licks the icing off his finger and then promptly spits it out.
- Ugh! What is that???
- Cut to wide shot as a shadowy figure runs past Steel, startling him.
- Who the hell is there?
- Steel dashes for a light switch. Cut to close-up of light switch. He flips it on and nothing happens.
- Cut to medium close-up of Steel as he looks at the non-working lights in confusion and flips the switch a few more times.
- A sudden noise startles Steel again and he drops his phone. As he bends down to grab it cut to the phone lying face down on the floor with his hand hovering over it.
- Cut to a medium close-up reaction shot of Steel as he is bending down and another sudden noise startles him and he looks down the dark hallway.
- Cut to Steel's POV. An individual dressed all in black and a mask is standing in the hallway.
